Surgical Technologist in Warwick, RI

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a certified Surgical Tech with strong Orthopedic and Total Joint experience. This contract role is based in Warwick, Rhode Island, and requires a professional with a minimum of five years experience as a Surgical Tech, preferably within a Level 1 trauma facility.

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technician credential required
• Expertise in Orthopedic procedures with emphasis on Total Joint surgeries
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Surgical Tech
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma facility preferred
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during orthopedic and trauma surgeries ensuring sterile technique and instrument availability
• Prepare and maintain operating rooms with necessary equipment and instruments
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals
• Manage intraoperative responsibilities with attention to detail and patient safety
• Participate in call rotations and weekend shifts as needed

Schedule/Hours:

• Two 12-hour mid shifts, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• On-call and weekend coverage required

This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of quick interview and offer processes due to excellent working relationships with the hiring management team. Candidates local to the area will be considered at the same rate.
