Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with day/night/weekend/holiday rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• 36 hours per week guaranteed
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only)
\n• New York State RN licensure required
\n• One year acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse required
\n• Two years emergency department experience preferred
\n• Apply nursing theory and technical skills in delivering high-quality compassionate patient care
\n• Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priorities
\n• Provide direct care using invasive and non-invasive procedures for life-threatening and routine emergency situations
\n• Conduct triage assessments and assign priority of care according to ESI standards
\n• Perform primary and secondary assessments for patients of all age groups
\n• Document patient conditions and respond appropriately to treatment changes
\n• Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and treatments
\n• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
\n• Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
