Dentist

Full-Time Position - Based out of the Leon location. Possible work in our Mount Ayr and Osceola locations in addition.

Position Summary: Provide dental care and related oral health promotion services to meet the needs of the patient population, in accordance with the policies and procedures, and protocols established by the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To provide exceptional customer services to all
2. Supports the mission, vision, and values of Infinity services
3. Examine individuals requesting care, diagnose their dental/oral conditions, and carry out, or direct others in carrying out, appropriate dental/oral treatment, or refer individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.
4. Accurately complete all patient records and documentation necessary for timely billing of services. In addition, complete referrals, data collections instruments and other records or paper works as shall be required from time to time by the corporation.
5. Participate in provider staff activities to develop, execute, and periodically review the clinical management policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure effective and efficient delivery of care
6. Participate in Quality Improvement activities to improve the quality of care, patient satisfaction, and staff morale
7. Participate in peer review and constructively works toward improving patient outcomes using evidenced based guidelines
8. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for timing billing. Comply with all billing processes and policies and participates in actions required to obtain reimbursement for all services rendered
9. Assist with the implementation and sustaining of patient centered medical home status as needed
10. Other related and/or necessary tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school

Must have a valid license/DEA to practice medicine in the State of Iowa

One to two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred
