JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Hematology/Oncology Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cambridge, MN Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jan 12, 2026 Approximately 6 months (possible extensions) Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00a 4:30p COVERAGE DATES Jan 12, 2026 Approximately 6 months (with possible extensions) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: Full-time coverage required Phone Consults: As needed Case Mix: Solid tumor oncology and hematology FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Hospital: 590 EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Full-time APP support Support Staff Available: Full-time advanced practice provider and clinical team Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage (vacancy) Orientation: 4 hours, non-billable Observed Holidays: Facility recognized holidays PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days with active license, 120 days if new license required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Orientation: 4 hours non-billable Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Standard hematology and oncology procedures including evaluation and management of solid tumor cases JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Minnesota license or IMLC accepted (willing to license) Board: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (required) DEA: Active DEA (required) Certifications: BLS (required) Experience: Prior outpatient hematology/oncology experience preferred Other Qualifications: Proficiency in Epic EMR; ability to function in float pool coverage model DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to outpatient population Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions Collaborate closely with APPs and multidisciplinary team Participate in treatment planning and follow-up care coordination Document all patient encounters ac
