What You'll Do:

• Carry out access control procedures at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring entry points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to monitor for security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
