Facility Maintenance Technician

About Us:

H&A Farms is a family-owned, multigenerational agricultural business with operations in Orange, Lake and Levy counties. The companies farming and packing operations manages 1,000+ acres and packs fruit for another 60+ growers throughout Florida and Georgia representing another 1,800+ acres. The company also has an agritourism business that operates as Amber Brooke Farms located in Eustis, Florida and provides u-pick, special events, festivals and private event activities for nearly 10,000 guests every year. We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team and support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine facility maintenance and complete repairs on various packing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment functions efficiently and safely and facilities meet health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime.
• Servicing the equipment and making facility repairs as needs arise and following managers instructions.
• Coordinate and communicate with your manager regarding facility operations and maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in farming or food production.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Benefits:

• $20-$22/hr. (according to skill and experience)
