Canine Handler/Security

We are looking for a good person who loves dogs and looking for a very “UNIQUE” opportunity. We are looking for a Canine Handler in the middle/west TN area that is ready to work with one of our trained and certified dogs.

Pay is based on experience.

Schedule and Pay:

• 16-18 days per month
• 6-8 hour work day
• $25 - $30 an hour

Handler must be comfortable with and responsible for the following:

• Handling a trained canine in different school and business environments
• Working with, caring for the dog in your home, and maintaining the training of a scent detection canine
• Directing the dog in the performance of inspections
• Explaining the inspection process to clients and answering questions
• Maintaining and keeping up with a strict schedule
• Keeping records and reporting findings of inspections

Qualifications:

• Canine Handler experience preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to drive, with canine safely transported, to inspection sites
• Military or Law enforcement experience a plus, but not required
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation.
• At least age of 21 required due to state licensing requirement.
