Qualified Mental Health Professional and Mentors

Elevate Behavioral Health is on the lookout for compassionate, driven, and experienced professionals to join our team of Intensive In-Home (IIH) Counselors. You’ll be working directly with children and families in their homes — providing meaningful therapeutic support and helping them build stronger, healthier relationships in the Chesterfield, Henrico, Petersburg, Richmond, area.

Who We’re Looking For:

• : You must be a QMHP-C, registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professions.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Human Services field (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Ed, etc.).
• Experience: At least 1 year of direct care experience supporting children or adults with mental health diagnoses.
• Skills That Matter:
• Solid writing and documentation skills (Service Plans, Therapeutic Interventions, Discharge Planning).
• Strong work ethic — dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Team player attitude and a passion for building lasting relationships with clients.
