Job Description
At CSI, we specialize in connecting talented individuals like you with apartment communities in need of reliable, skilled team members. As a staffing agency that works exclusively in this industry, we offer a variety of temporary opportunities that can be a perfect fit for your skills and availability.
Think of this as a chance to get your foot in the door, and make sure core values and experience align. It’s also a great way to showcase your abilities and work ethic.
Are you an experienced leader in affordable housing who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and driven Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a LIHTC multi-family apartment community.
This is a key leadership role where you'll manage everything from compliance and leasing to budgeting and team development — all while ensuring that residents feel respected, supported, and at home.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8AM-5PM
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the full operations of a LIHTC multi-family apartment community
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations (including LIHTC requirements)
- Lead and support a high-performing on-site team — leasing agents, maintenance, and admin staff
- Monitor and manage leasing activity, certifications, recertifications, and annual file audits
- Foster strong resident relationships by providing outstanding service and resolving concerns promptly
- Manage rent collections, delinquencies, and enforce lease agreements
- Prepare, manage, and maintain annual budgets, financial reporting, and expense tracking
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure top-tier property condition
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety, curb appeal, and overall community standards
What You Bring:
- 1-2+ years of experience as a Property Manager in multi-family housing
- Hands-on experience with LIHTC compliance, income certifications, and file audits is required
- In-depth knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing regulations
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certifications (COS, TCS, C3P, CAM) strongly preferred
