Responsibilities

• Responsible for the setup and monitoring of events on the FSU Panama City Campus. This will include set-up of speakers, mixers, cabling, microphones, projectors and various devices to support a wide variety of audio/visual needs.
• Responsible for interacting with event coordinators and providing excellent customer service pertaining to the needs of the event.
• The events position supports several rooms and event spaces on campus, and the setup will vary depending on the needs of the event.
• The events technician will assist the scheduling coordinator in contacting customers prior to the event to answer audio/visual questions and provide information about the capabilities of the event spaces.
• FSU Tech Services staff is willing to provide on-site training to the selected candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience relating to the setup and operation of audio/visual equipment.
• Basic understanding of the principles of sound and video.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Audio/Visual experience.
