About the Facility

Ahava Therapy Services is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab team at Henry County Healthcare Center, a 136-bed skilled nursing facility offering both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
The facility provides a supportive environment where therapists can deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team, and help residents maximize functional independence and mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Deliver and document evidence-based therapy sessions.

  • Supervise and instruct therapy assistants as needed.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, residents, and families to maximize functional abilities.

  • Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise and therapy continuation.

  • Maintain compliance with all documentation, safety, and quality standards.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education.

✔️ Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

  • Current PT license in the state of practice

  • BLS/CPR certification (current or obtained during orientation)

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
