Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Clinton Twp, Michigan. This long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and execute human resources programs, including compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee recognition.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as environmental health and safety regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of HR objectives, systems, and reporting tools to meet organizational needs.
• Oversee administrative tasks related to onboarding, orientation for new team members, and exit interviews, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment processes for exempt, non-exempt, and contract staff.
• Promote employee engagement and retention through effective communication and activities that enhance workplace morale.
• Collaborate on safety, environmental, and quality procedures, addressing any issues as they arise.
• Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all HR-related matters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support HR operations.• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of general HR experience, with a preference for manufacturing industry experience.
• Proficiency in Office tools and familiarity with HRIS platforms; experience with Plex Manufacturing ERP is a plus.
• Strong ability to interpret regulations and create policies, programs, and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and present to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Resourceful and detail-oriented with robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Commitment to ethical practices, cultural awareness, and fostering a positive work environment.
