Facilities Maintenance Technician - Now Hiring

As the Campus Operations Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Corporate Campus and Data Center. You will conduct preventative building and workspace inspections, perform required environmental and safety inspections, and report any deficiencies appropriately. You will also review and triage all campus operations department service requests, carry out office moves, reconfigurations, and furniture installations. Additionally, you will assist with managing additional projects as needed, including performing minor maintenance tasks.

What you’ll do 

• Assembling and installing commercial office furniture which includes cubicles, private office furniture, height adjustable desks, office chairs, hanging items and ancillary furniture.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure facility quality and compliance, covering areas such as building interiors and exteriors, lighting, mechanical rooms, elevators, parking ramps, and ground maintenance.

• Oversee and support administrative tasks including triaging service requests, managing inventory, ordering supplies, and developing or formatting procedural documentation as needed.

• Manage small facility projects, coordinate worksite preparations, and interact with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure project success.

• Respond to and complete assigned service requests, performing basic facility repairs in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Basic qualifications 

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2 years experience in maintenance, facilities coordination, and general repairs

• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50–70 lbs, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods

• Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs

• Valid driver's license and clear driving record

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Preferred qualifications 

• Experience coordinating with external vendors 

• Experience installing systems furniture
