A direct client of ours located in Queens NY is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team on a multi year contract project.
- Plans, organizes, and directs activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
- Confers with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
- Supports with project delivery strategies.
- Schedules the project in logical steps and budgets time required to meet deadlines.
- Coordinates the project procurement, selection of contractors and assists with contract paperwork and management of changes.
- Coordinates QA/QC quality control plans.
- Oversees safety management plans.
- Oversees the building permit process and compliance with codes.
- Participates in weekly construction meetings.
- Full-Time on client site in Queens, NY
- Sports & Rec experience preferred but not required
- Best for NYC and Long Island based candidates
- Ground up construction of new 4 story building
- Renovation of Tennis Stadium suites
- 4 year program duration
- $850M project
Pay is $70 hr
