About the Opportunity
We’re hiring Certified Teaching Assistants to join school teams across the Syosset region. This is an excellent opportunity for certified professionals who are passionate about education and eager to make an impact in the classroom.
You’ll work directly with teachers and students to support academic, behavioral, and social growth in both general and special education settings. Flexible opportunities are available throughout the school year — from daily coverage to consistent classroom placements.
What You’ll Do
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and student engagement
- Support individualized instruction and small-group learning
- Provide one-to-one support for students as needed
- Encourage a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with school staff to promote student success
What You’ll Need
- New York State Teaching Assistant Certification (Required - Level 1, 2 or 3)
- Prior classroom or childcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and professionalism
