Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and other therapies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
• Stay current with advancements in primary care and nursing practices

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Qualifications & Skills

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).
• Board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Experience in primary care or family practice settings.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to preventive care and health education.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) **If is possible**
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Active nursing license in good standing
• 2+ years of experience as a family nurse practitioner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care
