Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide specialized support for students in an elementary school setting serving grades K through 5. This contract position is for the current school year with a commitment of three days per week at one school site in Jasper, IN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Indiana SLP or SLPA license.
- DOE Certification required for SLP candidates.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and intervention.
- Ability to work effectively within a school team environment.
