Med-Surg RN — 46-Bed Unit (Days or Nights) | $10k–$15k Sign-On
Pay: $30.76 – $41.50/hr (DOE)
Differentials: Nights +$4.75/hr • Weekends +$3.00/hr • National cert +$2.00/hr
Schedule: Full-time • Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Sign-On: $10k Days • $15k Nights (2% on 1st/2nd check; balance paid in 6-month increments)
Relocation: Case-by-case
Location: Brooksville, FL (Nature Coast)

Overview
Join a 46-bed Medical + Post-Surgical overflow unit with mixed acuity—some Telemetry and some Oncology—and a team focused on safe care, great handoffs, and patient education. Standard ratio 1:6 (organization is working toward 1:5). You’ll collaborate across hospital services to keep throughput tight and outcomes strong.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments; escalate changes promptly; maintain precise documentation.
Manage meds and therapies safely; follow evidence-based pathways and core measures.
Coordinate diagnostics/consults and discharge readiness to reduce avoidable days/readmissions.
Educate patients/families on conditions, meds, and follow-up care.
Uphold safety bundles (falls, infection prevention) and high-quality handoffs.
Required
Active RN license (FL or compact; obtain active FL within 60 days if compact).
BLS (AHA) within 30 days of start.
1+ year RN experience (acute care strongly preferred).
ASN/ADN or Nursing Diploma (BSN welcome).
Onsite interview is mandatory.
Also Considered
LTACH, Home Health, or Rehab backgrounds with ≥1 year RN experience and strong med-surg readiness.

Base: $30.76–$41.50/hr (experience-based).
Differentials: Nights +$4.75/hr; Weekends +$3.00/hr; National certification +$2.00/hr.
Sign-On: $10k Days • $15k Nights (structured payout as above).
