Job Summary
We are seeking a Youth Performance Dietician/Nutritionist to join our team! As our nutritionist, you will be available to all age groups and needs, but your main focus will be to provide young athletes with the tools they need to make great food choices that will fuel their training and performance. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of diet, nutrition, and different dietary needs, and the ability to multitask and switch focus, as needed, to provide the best care for each patient. Also, an understanding of child and adolescent psychology will definitely be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal plans and recipe suggestions that are in line with their ultimate health goals
• Regularly communicate with existing clients and check in on their progress
• Be a helpful, supportive presence for clients looking to make major changes in their life
• Provide detailed routines for pre and post training nutrition, and pre, post and intra sport nutrition

Qualifications

• Must hold the required license in the state
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of nutrition and different diets
• The ability to compassionately counsel people making major life changes
• The ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
