Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Position Purpose: Directing daily operations of the line, including receipt of inbound components, direction of labor, preventative maintenance, and other special projects.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, coach and mentor line operator to ensure efficiency and quality standards are intact.
• Maintaining operating equipment on the production line.
• Maintaining a safe warehouse and drive safety standards for team through 6S methodologies.
• Inspection and preventative maintenance of all machinery on site.
• Assisting plant manager as needed.
• Maintaining a safe warehouse and driving safety standards for team.
• Ensuring good housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Driving productivity and key metrics throughout the plant, while holding the employees accountable.

• Inventory management, project management, and forklift duties as needed.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• High school diploma/GED Required
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
• Forklift certification a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively lead employees in a manufacturing environment.
