Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (option for block schedule)
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
On Call: None

Position Overview:
A facility in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will care for cardiac telemetry patients, providing assessments, administering medications, and interpreting telemetry strips while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and monitor patient status

• Administer medications and provide bedside care

• Chart patient assessments accurately and timely

• Conduct bedside shift reports

• Float as needed within the unit

Requirements:

• Active IN RN license

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience

• Strong skills in telemetry interpretation, medication administration, and patient assessment

Unit Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:6

• Number of beds: 24

• EMR: Cerner
