professionals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing comprehensive care to patients throughout all phases of the birthing process, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care.
· Key Responsibilities:
· Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns during all stages of labor and delivery.
· Monitor maternal and fetal conditions, interpret fetal heart monitoring strips, and respond appropriately to any complications.
· Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during labor, delivery, and recovery.
· Administer medications and perform necessary clinical procedures per provider orders.
· Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and positive outcomes for patients and families.
· Serve as an OB circulator during cesarean sections and other procedures (OB circulatory experience preferred).
· Educate patients and families regarding postpartum and newborn care.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
· Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (approximately 20–30 deliveries per month preferred).
· Licensure: Active RN license in the state of practice
· Certifications (Required):
· BLS (Basic Life Support)
· ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
· NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
· STABLE Certification
· Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
