Physician Radiology - Competitive Salary

Neuro & IR Needed for onsite Ohio    

A well-established private practice located in western Ohio is seeking two to three Radiologists.    They are currently a 8-physician subspecialized practice at a single hospital system searching for replacements due the upcoming retirement of a partners.  The positions are within a 435-bed hospital which anchors the major regional medical center for a 10-county area.

• Neurorad - New hire can expect 30% + Neuro, balance in general.   This position requires interpretation of inpatient and outpatient neuroradiology studies as well as solid training and proficiency in general radiology.    In addition, an interest in either breast imaging and or procedures or non-vascular CT and ultrasound guided interventional procedures is required.   Weekend call is 1:4 or 1:5 when everyone is in place.

• Interventional - The successful candidate will be one of three interventional radiologists and will share all interventional duties and call. Approximately two-thirds of the working time will be spent in interventional radiology with the remainder covering general radiology and an additional area of the candidate’s choosing (breast or nuclear imaging is preferred).   Call is 1:3 taken by the week.  Compensation for IR call is approx.. 90k making annual income of $740,000 for IR.

Both positions offer a salary of $650,000 for the first year with a one-year partnership track.  Partner compensation is highly competitive and has historically been in the upper quartile of national and state averages. Vacation is commensurate with partners from the beginning when new hires are in place vacation will be 14 to 16 weeks!     Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, disability insurance, medical malpractice, 401k plan and additional pension plan equating to an addition 140k! CME and relocation funds are provided.  The community is located between Toledo and Dayton. Major metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit are within easy driving distance.
