Full Time Nocturnist St Joseph's Yonkers, NY

Join PPE'S  dedicated inpatient team serving the Yonkers community with excellence and compassion. We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our hospitalist program as a Nocturnist.

• Location: Yonkers, New York
• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (12-hour night shifts)
• Employment Type: Full-time 

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during night hours
• Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and patient management
• Conduct necessary procedures including:
  • Central lines
  • Intubations
  • Arterial lines
  • Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
  • Code and rapid response team leadership
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, consultants, and support teams
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care with efficient documentation

• MD or DO with active New York State medical license
• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Proficient in common inpatient procedures
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
