Position Overview

Title: Hospitalist – Nocturnist
Schedule: 7-On / 7-Off
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start: As soon as credentialed
Visa Sponsorship: Not available
Locums: Not accepted

What You’ll Do

• Provide overnight inpatient care (7PM–7AM)

• Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients

• Conduct comprehensive H&Ps

• Closed ICU rounding on Hospitalist patients

• Monitor acute changes & respond rapidly

• Collaborate with subspecialists & multidisciplinary teams

• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care

• Document all encounters in EPIC EMR

• Deliver patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $320,320 per year

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

• Productivity & Quality Bonuses

• CME Allowance: $4,500 annually + CME days

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years)

  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active NY Medical License (or willing to obtain)

• Clean malpractice & license history

• Recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)

• DEA required

• Must not have applied directly
