LOCUM - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking qualified providers to join our team for emergency department coverage. Currently, we are looking for two providers to work night shifts at our facilities. Candidates who are strictly available for day shifts will not be considered for this assignment. The shift schedule includes:

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

The average patient volume in the ED is approximately 110 patients over a 24-hour period.
Please note the following bid requirements:

• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per shift
• Overtime (OT) applies after 12 hours (OT approval required)
• An incentive of $25 per hour will be paid for confirmed night shifts.
• Day shifts will be paid at the standard contracted rates.

Requirements:

• Must hold an ACTIVE California medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABEOM certification preferred; ABIM/ABFM not accepted)
• Prior to confirmation, ensure your CV is up-to-date with all hospital affiliations and case logs, especially for surgical specialties.
• All gaps in clinical activity greater than 3 months must be explained.
• Include the number of current case logs if applicable.

Travel & Reimbursement Details:

• Reimbursements applicable to airport parking, pre-approved rental car insurance, and transportation from destination airport to lodging, lodging to hospital, and return trip.
• Not reimbursed: mileage from home to departure airport, airport transfers via ride-share or taxi from home or airport.
