We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilledOccupational Therapistto join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities, empowering them to succeed in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate childrens sensory, motor, and cognitive development to identify their unique needs and strengths.
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care tasks, and other developmental goals.
- Use play-based and evidence-based approaches to engage children in meaningful therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support holistic care.
- Provide education and strategies for families to continue supporting progress at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adapt plans as needed.
- Provide supervision for COTAs
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program - new or upcoming graduates encouraged to apply!
- Current licensure (or in the process of obtaining) in Alabama as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children, especially those with special needs (preferred, not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on collaboration.
- Passion for working with children and their families in a dynamic setting.
