Job Title: Line Cook

Supervisor: Executive Chef & Sous Chefs

General Responsibilities:

A Line Cook plays a key role in contributing to each guests dining experience. Line cooks are responsible for certain tasks in the kitchen such as grilling or cutting ingredients required for food service.

Specific Duties:

  1. Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in proper uniform.
  2. Keep stations clean, sanitized and well stocked with necessary supplies
  3. Use ingredients in the right proportion and be aware of the exact procedure of food preparation
  4. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  5. Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  6. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  7. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers
  8. Fill in wherever necessary to move the line faster

Qualifications:

Experience in fine dining or equivalent kitchens

Ability to work swiftly and efficiently

Must have strong work ethic and reliability

Able to work in a fast paced environment.

Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and carry 50lbs as needed with assistance.

Continuous use of hand and arms.

Continuous standing, walking, climbing, reaching and twisting.
