Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience
About the Role
As a Travel Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering precise, high-quality cancer treatments that improve patient outcomes. You’ll work alongside oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
- Accurately position patients and operate linear accelerators (LINAC) and related equipment
- Verify treatment plans and maintain detailed patient treatment records
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality assurance standards
- Provide patient education, comfort, and support throughout the treatment process
