Job Title: Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Day Shift) Location: Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts) Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Overview: Marquette General Hospital is seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its Operating Room team for a travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity surgical environment within a leading regional medical center.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens
• Perform post-operative clean-up and equipment sterilization
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care OR setting
• Experience in neurosurgery and orthopedic procedures is required
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
