About The Position
We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with outpatient clinic hours integrated into the onsite schedule and after-hours call coverage required. The Neurologist will provide both inpatient and outpatient EEG reads, interpret radiologic exams, and perform essential neurologic procedures.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Outpatient clinic hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (within onsite shift); after-hours call coverage required
Responsibilities and Duties
- Interpret radiologic exams
- Perform lumbar punctures (spinal taps)
- Read and interpret EEG studies for both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Conduct brain death examinations
- Perform evoked potentials
- Provide onsite hospital coverage as needed when outpatient appointments are not scheduled
Additional Information
- Board certification in Neurology required (board eligibility not accepted)
- Must hold an active Michigan medical license at time of submission
- Active DEA registration required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency preferred
- Clean malpractice history required, with details on carrier and coverage limits
