Job Description: Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions
• Inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft components, including landing gear and related systems.
• Perform component-level diagnostics and repairs using precision tools and testing equipment.
• Conduct precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and torque tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components using hand and power tools.
• Modify aircraft structures, systems, or components according to engineering orders and technical publications.
• Order replacement parts and coordinate vendor repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance documentation and repair logs in compliance with FAA or company standards.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
oAircraft maintenance experience preferred.
oExtensive automotive mechanic experience desired.
oEquivalent mechanical backgrounds strongly considered (see below).

1. Automotive Technicians
