Finance Associate

TERNA ENERGY, member of MASDAR Group, is seeking a:

Finance Associate

Essential functions for the Role: 

• Supports Group Finance Division across all related workstreams
• Reviews financing term sheets and related documentation
• Participates in / coordinates the due diligence process of the financing workstream and cooperates with financial advisors for any structuring aspect
• Participates in and contributes to negotiations regarding project finance documentation
• Executes transactions including financial close process, CPs satisfaction and drawdowns
• Ensures compliance with information and other undertakings according to finance documentation post-closing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master’s degree in a related field will be considered as an asset
• 3 - 5 years’ proven related experience in a bank, advisory firm or a large organization with similar responsibilities
• Knowledge / prior experience in trade finance tools (LoGs, LoCs etc.)
• Knowledge / prior experience in financing documents negotiations and related legal aspects will be considered an asset
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of business valuation outputs
• Active participation in the CFA program or ACCA qualification will be highly regarded
• PMO skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office toolset, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English is essential
