2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Position Description

• Assist the Machine Operator and Bag Inspectors/Packers in maintaining a clean and safe work environment and comply with all company safety policies.
• Works at the conveyor end of the department keeping all pallets and corrugated cases stocked.
• Operate a forklift to press and strap completed boxes of bags and wrap the completed cases.
• Under the direction of the Machine Operators, obtain adhesives, corrugated cases, paper board slip sheets, and any other necessary materials.
• Assist the Inspector/Packer in packing finished product as needed.
• Transport paper waste to baler, fill baler, and makes bales of waste when baler is full.
• Document inventory when boxes are completed.
• Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear required PPE.
• Work every other weekend, overtime as needed, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Forklift training provided in-house. Some experience preferred, but not required.
