Grading Superintendent

Salary: $150,000 - $160,000

Seeking a Grading Construction Superintendent in Las Vegas. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site operations related to grading and paving activities. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage daily on-site construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and supervising grading and paving crews to ensure productivity and adherence to project timelines.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Resource Management: Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, equipment, and labor, optimizing resource utilization.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements and schedules.
• Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, manage budgets effectively, and handle change orders as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including work progress, delays, and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Extensive experience in heavy civil construction, particularly in grading and paving operations.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and grading techniques.
