Marketing Generalist

Onsite at Florissant, MO Campus

Fulltime

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Support Product Marketing Managers by handling the operational execution of marketing campaigns and ensuring all deliverables stay on track
  • Helping facilitate quality checks on all marketing deliverables before deployment and escalating any errors to the appropriate parties
  • Input and maintain tasks, deadlines, and project details in the project management system (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) to keep teams aligned and workflows organized
  • Manage marketing asset libraries in SharePoint, ensuring files are properly organized, labeled, and accessible to the team
  • Schedule emails and social media posts using marketing automation and scheduling tools based on PMM-provided content and calendar
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary materials, approvals, and updates for marketing initiatives
  • Maintain and update marketing calendars, tracking campaign timelines and ensuring stakeholders are aware of upcoming deliverables
  • Help create reports on campaign performance metrics, compiling data into reports for PMMs to review and analyze
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, synthesizing findings into organized summaries for marketing team review
  • Maintain documentation of marketing processes, templates, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency
  • Serve as the operational liaison between internal marketing teams to ensure smooth project execution and communication


Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality, with ability to spot errors and inconsistencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with SharePoint or similar file management systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams

• Ability to learn new marketing tools and platforms quickly (e.g., email marketing platforms, social media schedulers, project management software)

• Self-starter who can work independently while knowing when to ask questions or escalate issues

• Comfortable working with data and creating reports using analytics tools or spreadsheets


Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar platforms

• Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp) or social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)

• Basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign execution

• Previous internship or work experience in marketing, communications, or operations

• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
