About Us
Right now, we’re operating as The Sandwich Spot, a popular neighborhood deli known for fresh ingredients, great service, and a loyal following.
This winter, we’re rolling out our next chapter — The Good Life Sandwich Company, a refreshed brand built around quality, consistency, and a modern approach to the classic deli experience.
We’re building our team now so that when we launch in January, you’ll already be part of the foundation. This is a rare opportunity to get in early, help shape the systems and culture, and grow with a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Sandwich Maker who takes pride in their craft — someone who moves with purpose, keeps things clean, and brings good energy to the line. You’ll work closely with our core team to prepare sandwiches, restock stations, and deliver the kind of service that makes people come back.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and sides to order with speed and accuracy
- Help with daily prep, station setup, and restocking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Support closing duties: labeling, storing food, cleaning, and sanitizing
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Contribute ideas and feedback as we transition to The Good Life Sandwich Company
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a deli, café, or fast-casual kitchen (preferred, not required)
- Reliability, a positive attitude, and great communication skills
- Ability to stay cool and efficient during a busy lunch rush
- Attention to detail and pride in quality and presentation
- A team player who’s excited to grow with a new concept
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Be part of a brand-new concept from the ground up
- Daytime hours only — no late nights
- A positive, team-driven culture with room to grow
- Learn prep systems and kitchen operations from experienced leaders
- Be part of shaping what “The Good Life” means for our guests and team
