Job Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
  • Conduct head/neck surgery, chest wall/pleural procedures, and breast surgery
  • Handle liver surgery, GI endoscopy, minor orthopedics, hand surgery, and complex plastic and vascular surgeries
  • Manage ventilations, insert chest tubes and central lines, and place PA catheters
  • Conduct additional pediatric surgeries for trained specialists, including artesias, abdominal wall defects, diaphragmatic hernias, and PDA ligations
Qualifications
  • Board Eligibility or Certification required
  • Fellowship of three or more years preferred
  • Surgical skills across various required procedures and specialties
  • Must be able to perform both adult and pediatric surgeries
Working Hours
  • Varied shifts, primarily Thursday through Monday on specified weeks
Skills
  • Proficiency in laparoscopic surgeries and complex vascular, thoracic, and abdominal procedures
  • Expertise in general and pediatric surgery techniques
  • Strong critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
