Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician - Now Hiring

Coverage Needed

• December 23, 2025 - June 30, 2026
• 5pm on Friday through 8am on Monday, one weekend per month
• Call and rounding for one Friday - Monday AM stretch per month
• Night Call: 5pm-8am
• 24hr Call: 8am-8am

Clinical Details

• Trauma Level: Level II
• Bed Size: 458
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: APPs available for OR support and take office and non-urgent calls
• Types of Calls: Telephone; 30min Response
• Average Admissions While On Call: 1
• Emergency cases, ECMO, Tamponade
• Procedures: Aortic Valve Replacements, CABG, TAVR, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Heart Valve Surgery, MitraClip, PFO Closure
• Other Specialties Onsite: Thoracic and Vascular surgery, general and trauma surgery
• Operating Rooms: 2 rooms per day dedicated to cardiac surgery

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• DEA
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Pennsylvania State Licensure (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
