Oncology - Radiation Physician

Radiation Oncology Locums Job in Michigan Full-Time Beginning February 2026 - Ongoing Two Providers Needed Assignment

Coverage Details:
Current Open Dates: December 8-12, December 15-19
2026 Schedule Expectations: Facility seeks full-time coverage every week
Credentialing will be completed before the start date

Shift Description:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Call Schedule: 24-hour call shared with one other physician (ratio 1:2)

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ
BLS Certification
Must be available for full-time ongoing coverage

Required Procedures:
Conventional Radiotherapy
3D Radiotherapy
External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT)
Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Required Duties:
Orders tests and images
Prescribes treatment
Covers consults, minor procedures, and daily clinical operations

Additional Details:
Number of Physicians in Practice: 2
APP Support: 1 NP in clinic
Average Outpatient Volume: 10-15 patients/day
Patient Population: Adult
Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
Trauma Level: 2
EMR: Aria & Epic
