As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Finance & Business Development Specialist to support sales, finance, and operations through strong business processes and customer service.
Position Summary
The Business Development / F&I Specialist plays a key role in supporting the customer financing process, managing back-end product offerings, and developing efficient workflows between Sales, F&I, and Accounting. This individual will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales, Finance & Accounting
- Work directly with lenders to secure financing and approvals for customers.
- Manage cash-to-finance conversions and customer payment transitions.
- Expand and manage back-end product options, including vehicle tracking, maintenance, paint protection, GAP coverage, and other programs.
- Create, review, and process sales paperwork for all Vandoit deals.
- Complete lender and vendor applications as needed.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining service contract company relationships.
Process Development & Operations
- Support the redevelopment of procedures connecting Sales, F&I, and Accounting for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Help redesign and train on procedures for the stock-in process and vehicle inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflow consistency across departments.
Parts & Service Support
- Assist with parts inventory management, including tracking, pricing verification, and coordination with team members.
- Learn to quote parts and service work through ASI as a backup for the Service and Parts teams.
- Help develop procedures to run all internal service work through repair orders (ROs) in ASI to accurately track real-time unit costs.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive finance, business development, or dealership operations preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing financial documents, vendor accounts, and customer contracts.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
