Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | On-Site | On-Call 1 Week/Month
Contract Opportunity with Protouch Staffing
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our client facility in Mexia, TX for a 13-week contract. This role offers consistent daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and on-site support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical, clinical, and consultative pharmacy services
- Conduct DURs, dispense medications, and maintain accurate records
- Perform weekly medication cart checks, refills, and narcotic updates
- Manage furlough medications and oversee inventory control
- Supervise pharmacy technicians when needed
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
- Active Texas Pharmacist License (Unrestricted)
- Active BLS from AHA
- Driving License
- Vaccination records (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Covid)
- Experience with EHR and prescription processing systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must complete required facility training (paid)
- On-site role (no remote work)
