Join an established outpatient clinic in the vibrant city of Lubbock, Texas, as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist on a locum tenens assignment. Deliver expert care to expectant mothers while balancing both clinic and call responsibilities. This position offers a flexible one-week-per-month schedule, with additional weekend call included.
Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Outpatient Clinic- Start Date: December- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with additional night call; Weekend call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Sunday- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Lubbock, TX- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities- Manage 8-10 consultations per weekday and interpret up to 40 ultrasounds.- Conduct additional weekend calls, with Friday consisting of 7 ultrasound readings and 3 consultations.- Provide comprehensive care for conditions such as pregnancy-induced hypertension, HELLP syndrome, and various cardiac, pulmonary, and renal disorders.- Perform and interpret ultrasounds, including Level II and echocardiography.- Execute procedures such as amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, and intrauterine transfusions.
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency in Maternal-Fetal Medicine- Texas Medical License or IMLC License- BLS and ACLS Certifications- Texas DEA Registration
Working Hours- Weekdays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM- Night Call during weekdays: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM- Weekend Call: 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Sunday
Skills- Expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies- Proficiency in ultrasound performance and interpretation- Experience with complex maternal and fetal procedures- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in an outpatient setting
