Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract CVOR Technologist for a local contract job in Weston, Florida.

Position details:
\n Position: CVOR Tech
\n Location: Weston, FL 33331
\n Contract: 13 Weeks (Highly Potential to extend)
\n Hours: 36 Hours (3 x 12)/ 40 hours (5 x 8), (4 x 10)
\n Experience Requirements:
\n • Minimum: 18 months of Surgical Tech experience
\n • Preferred: 2–3+ years
\n • Required: Strong Cardiac OR (CVOR) and Vascular experience
\n • Must be comfortable taking cardiac call and independently working in the CVOR setup.
\n Certifications:
\n • BLS: Required
\n • NBSTSA or NCCT: Preferred, but not required
\n Responsibility:
\n • Prepare the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) before procedures by ensuring instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and sterile.
\n • Scrub and assist surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and other cardiac surgical procedures.
\n • Maintain a sterile field throughout the operation and follow infection control protocols.
\n • Anticipate the surgeon's needs by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently during procedures.
\n • Prepare and operate specialized cardiac surgical equipment as needed.
\n • Participate in the cardiac call rotation and respond promptly when called in for emergency or scheduled cardiac cases.
\n • Assist with non-cardiac surgical cases when there are no CVOR procedures scheduled.
\n • Perform instrument counts before, during, and after surgery to ensure patient safety.
