Job Description\nAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring a MO or compact license and ACLS certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n- Work in a hospital Stepdown unit
- Level II Trauma and Stroke Center environment
- Day shift with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- Patient population includes stepdown acuity levels
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- Modules completed during orientation
- Locals accepted at a reduced rate within a 50-mile radius
- Free parking available on site
- Stepdown RNs provide care for patients with intermediate needs between ICU and Med-Surg
- RTO must be declared for consideration
- Modules are completed during orientation via MyPath
- Active MO or compact RN license required in hand by start
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year recent stepdown nursing experience
- 2 years of overall nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Candidates must have been separated from previous employment at this facility for at least one year
- Two professional references required
