Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license, Epic experience, and a minimum of 18 months of ER experience.

  • Emergency Department (ER) position in a hospital setting
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week)
  • \n
  • Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday)
  • \n
  • Every other holiday required
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active MA RN license required
  • \n
  • BLS certification required
  • \n
  • Minimum 18 months of ER experience required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • Two professional references required for consideration, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
  • \n
  • Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
  • \n
  • Clean nursing license required — no prior disciplinary actions on record
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam, each with only one attempt allowed — failure results in immediate contract cancellation
  • \n
  • Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-directed in-services (FDIs) to help prepare for orientation exams
  • \n
