Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.

• Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff for optimal outcomes.

• Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.

• Maintain accurate records of patient care and surgical procedures.

• Utilize data to assess and enhance patient care effectiveness.

• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

• Support the onboarding and training of new staff members.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Maine is required.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons and medical staff effectively.

• Experience in monitoring patient vitals during surgical procedures is crucial.

• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team meetings.

• Willingness to support and train new staff members as needed.

• Proficient in maintaining accurate records of patient care.

• Ability to utilize data for assessing patient care effectiveness.
