The Processing Supervisor is responsible for all daily operation functions within his or her assigned area. This means he or she clearly defines daily goals and assignments to team members under his or her supervision.

SPECIFIC TASKS, DUTIES, AND/OR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Makes and posts daily schedules for operators
  • Monitors ADP timekeeping
  • Enters hourly team member vacation time requests in ADP
  • Oversees daily call-in service
  • Writes accident reports after holding appropriate investigations
  • Is responsible for daily overtime polling
  • Prints daily process records for operators
  • Maintains communication with the QA department and is aware of QA functions that occur in his or her assigned area
  • Maintains relevant communication with the scheduler/planner on maintenance projects
  • Forwards requests to purchasing so purchase requisitions for tools, parts, and equipment needed can be generated when necessary
  • Manages team member discipline and grievance-related issues
  • Trains to perform in SQF and Safety audits
  • Is responsible for identifying and reporting issues related to non-conformance
  • Assists Processing Managers as required
  • Monitors operators so they adhere to daily checklists, standard operating procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Associates Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

8:30pm - 5:30am
