Position Overview:
Our client, a distributor of small animal care and equine products. is hiring Part-Time Field Sales Representatives to join their expanding team!
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing and future clients, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.
Field Sales Representative
Part-time, weekends only
Starting Pay: 13.00/HR + Commission on sales
Travel frequently within Ohio as needed to support field operations, including but not limited to Millersburg, Berlin, Walnut Creek, Marietta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Attending client-sponsored events, tradeshows, and other networking events.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and service support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic sales decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale within company guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order fulfillment.
- Report on sales performance, market insights, and account activity using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
