Job Description
Join our team as a Punch Press Operator at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, where we produce specialized medical equipment and devices for emergency response and patient transport. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate punch press machinery to shape and form precision metal components used in life-saving products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values quality, precision, and teamwork in a modern manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate punch press machines according to production specifications
- Load materials into machines and monitor operations to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges
- Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment as needed
- Follow production schedules and complete work orders on time
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace following 5S and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- Previous experience operating punch press or similar metal fabrication machinery required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills, including familiarity with precision tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production goals
